Every Christmas our family is always together. One year, we changed the place where we were going to spend our Christmas. We decided that we would go to Storm Lake, Iowa at my sisters house to celebrate together. Being in Storm Lake and at my sisters house or at the cabin on their lake is one of my top places in the world so obviously it made me feel all "warm and fuzzy". Her house is filled with pictures of the family and of her husband and there is always a nice wood fire in the fire place. Its always a nice and relaxed family setting with delicious food and hilarious people. We all opened our presents there and now have some of my best Christmas memories there.
Another "warm and fuzzy" Christmas was when the whole family was at home, and went through the normal phases of Christmas. We all start getting the dinner ready early in the afternoon and also start getting ourselves ready for the Christmas Eve mass. When we come home, we take family pictures while we are all dressed up (every one complains about the picture every year). After pictures we start the evening right by eating a feast. After the feast, we take care of the dishes and then we start the secret Santa presents. Its always part of every Christmas to try to fool the rest of the family about who you have. When the secret Santa presents are done, we find a way to keep ourselves awake until midnight. Some years we would go out to look at Christmas lights, but this year we decided to play spoons. That kept every one up and excited for "Santa" to come. While we play, our parents are setting up things around the Christmas tree. After this year we all decided that we would open presents at midnight because of how much fun we had with all of our family.
