Judy Battista is a writer for the New York Times and covers the stories regarding the Jets for the sports section. Ms. Battista was born in Brooklyn on March 10, 1966. She is now married to Anthony McCarron with no children. He is a sportswriter for daily news. Battista has a bachelor degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Miami in 1988, which helped her deify her writing styles. Previously, she covered things like the mets and college basketball. Before working with the NY Times, she worked with the Miami Herald. One thing that she dislikes about her job, is some of the interview questions she has to ask people.
Virginia Heffernan is a television critic for the New York Times. She went to college at University of Virginia (ironic huh? haha) and there got a B.A. in English and Philosophy in 1991. She also completed her masters in English Literature at Harvard in 1993 and a Ph.D in English Literature from Harvard in 2002. Also in 2002, she was a deputy editor for the New York Times Magazine Home Design issue. When she was in college or in graduate school she wrote for the campus newspaper and particularly enjoyed studying English Literature by reading books that criticized many different things.
