This year is the first year that I've actually started to enjoy writing. You might ask why, and i would be able to tell you because of the Rustler. Being in other English classes where you have a very boring topic to write about always made me want to procrastinate to the last minute because i hated to write about such boring things. Being in this class has allowed me to write about things i enjoy to write about, and has helped me to become a better writer.
This class has also taught me how much work journalists actually work for their stories. I couldn't hardly believe how many things you have to learn before actually writing the story. You have to learn about the interview process, the editing process and so much more. The first time writing my story, I felt overwhelmed. But now, after learning the processes I feel like i'm very prepared to write a solid article or even an English paper now.
